We are searching for a _Materials Coordinator_ who, under general supervision, performs clerical and manual tasks involved in the receipt, verification, storage and issuance of packaging materials and supplies.
_Duties and Responsibilities_
Loads or unloads items on or from trucks and other conveyors using forklifts, electric and/or manual pallet jacks. Conveys items to and from receiving, shipping, storage areas and production lines
Stacks and arranges product on pallets
Reviews shipping/receiving documentation for accuracy and completing goods receipt into ERP system
Documents packaging material non-conformances and works with manager on supplier notification
Coordinates and monitors all packaging material related activities involved with the production of our goods
Tracks inventory of packaging materials by conducting inventory counts, verifying system counts against physical counts of inventory, investigates reasons for inventory discrepancies and records inventory adjustments in MRP (Material Requirements Planning) System
Assist with supplier audits and reviews
Seeks out cost savings opportunities through material usage, shrinkage, and/or redesign
Communicate with Materials Manager to obtain production and delivery schedules as required
Provides backup relief as Warehouse Attendant when needed
Responsible for sanitation and safety of work area and maintenance of equipment in compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices and AIB (American Institute of Baking) Consolidated Standards of Food Safety.
Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one to two years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Valid Driver''s License.
Ability to operate forklift, hoist, welding equipment and various hand and power tools.
Familiar with industrial and mechanical terminology.
Knowledge of CFR 110, current good manufacturing practices and AIB consolidated standards for food safety.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
