Requirements and
Responsibilities:
Prepares work schedules and delegates tasks
Keeps track of employee work performance and attendance
Offers mentoring and guidance by using hands-on demonstration and justification of practical mechanical application
Upholds disciplinary actions and counsels employees appropriately
Conducts departmental meetings
Ensures employees are following company uniform standards, safety standards, and necessary job functions
Assists with maintenance duties on the production lines
Ability to work a 3rd shift schedule and some Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays as needed
Accountable for maintaining employee payroll
Education and/or
Experience:
Bachelor's degree preferred
Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED required
High speed manufacturing experience is a must
Candidates must have 3-5 years of supervisory experience
This position reports to an Engineering ManagerEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
