Pump Mechanic

Growing company in Port Allen, La is looking for a Pump Mechanic. Must have 3 years previous experience.
As a Pump Mechanic 1 you must be able to support the overall workload of the Repair Center. You shall follow and support the Company policies and protect the assets associated with the operation. Your objective should be to support the Company's ability to
meet the needs and expectations of the customers.
DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Pump Repair, Manufacturing and Production
o Starts and operates typical manual machines including but not limited to lathes, mills, HBM, VTL, radius drills, grinders, saws, etc. Position is expected to know how to operate all types of machines.
Sharpens tools.
Reads and works from prints, process sheets, written and verbal instructions to tolerances of .0005.
Uses gauges, calipers, micrometers to measure work.
Works with all metallic and non-metallic materials.
Works with minimum supervision.
Continuous standing and lifting of 50 to 60 pounds.
Must be able to follow routine procedures.
Must be able to disassemble, repair, reassemble and test recondition components.
Must be able to fill out inspection reports.
Must be able to use complex equipment requiring continuous attention.
Must be able to make minor decisions.
Must be available for overtime, call-ins, etc. as needed to meet customer requirements.
