Payroll Administrator

An industrial construction company in Port Allen, LA is currently seeking a Payroll Administrator. This position is responsible for maintaining production records, timesheets, calculating and processing high volume payroll for 400+ employees on a weekly basis, as well as computing withholdings, deductions, and garnishments associated with net earnings. This position is looking to place the candidate directly into the role and is offering up to $50,000/year, commensurate with experience.
Knowledge-Skills-Abilities:
o Knowledge of payroll processing, practices, procedures and standard concepts
o Ability to work under general supervision
o Goal and detail oriented
Required
Experience:
Qualified candidates will have at least 4 years of experience processing payroll, preferably in an industrial environment. An Associate's degree or higher in a related field is strongly preferred. To apply, please email your resume to email removed

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
