Job Description:
Description: Inspects grain and performs Laboratory tets to determine physical characteristics for such purposes as quality and quailty control and the following duties.
Demonstrates knowledge of all grain types in the area and serves as a resource to Grain Inspector II.
Determines grading factors such as dockage heat damage total damage foreign material shrunken and broken kernels types of grain splits and other test as required and as determind by the USDA--FGIS regulations.
Assists in testing materials for moisture test weight per bushel protein analysis aflastoxin falling numbers sedimentations wet gluten and dividing of sample into prescriped portions.
Records test results on standardized forms.
Oversees samplers and lab procedures as needed.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
